“Never-before released berserk heavy/hard psychedelic West Coast MONSTER album of the highest order! It Includes eight long tracks with furious heavy lead guitar assaults and jams, powerful screaming vocals, fantastic loud bass and drums interplay reminding many of the numerous milestones of the legendary heavy psychedelic era bands like Morly Grey, Headstone, Titus Oates and Day Blindness! Recorded in Hollywood during 1971/’72 at the Paramount Studios and at the Satellite Studios, owned by Wolfman Jack. The band spent time in the San Francisco music scene developing their sound. During this period, Groundshaker played gigs at the Fillmore and every other venue available in the Bay area. They decided to hock their amps and headed to Los Angeles and quickly landed several gigs on the LA club circuit. At the Whisky A Go-Go they were told they were too loud… imagine that in the day of massive stacks of Marshall Amps? They also played the Hollywood Palladium, and the Masonic Temple in Hollywood. Groundshaker blew away audiences!!! Produced by TC Corbett who Produced EG Mount Rushmore.”

Track 3: Done Somebody Wrong (Elmore James) This is the closing night of The Fillmore East, a very special show that has flirted with an official release for over 30 years. “The tape begins with Graham introducing the Allman Brothers Band as one of the best he’s heard according to his untrained ears, and the band embark on a show that packs a lot into an eighty minute set. The opening numbers show some restraint and not until “In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed” does the band get into an elongated jam session reaching over twelve minutes. The show ends with a twenty minute “Whipping Post” and a seventeen minute encore “You Don’t Love Me”/ “Final Serenade” where Duane Allman quotes Handel’s “Joy To The World”. “
